What is your preferred weapon when embarking on your Silent Hill quest?

For me... shotgun!

Shotgun is great. I love that sound of shooting and reloading. In my opinion it's better weapon than Hunting Rifle (SH and SH2) and Sub Machinegun (SH3). :wink: I missed shotgun in Silent Hill 4. :cry:

Yes, shotguns are great. Not only in Silent Hill, but also i other games i like this weapon. But I think that most suitable for SH is normal pistol. From the not fire weapon i like metal pipe very much

I seriously like stell pipe. Good weapon, using it is more dificult than gun's, but pleasure is bigger also :lol:

katana:) tylko to wystarczylo aby wykorzystac maly blad w grze i tylko tym pokonac glownego bossa w SH 3 :>

Renember that in SH1 we also have small bug. And thanks to him, we can't be harmed.

I consider taking advantage of glitches/bugs to be cheating, as the player is executing inadvertent obstacles within the game that make the objective(s) effortless.

Steel pipe! My next favorite is the shotgun. Everybody likes the shotgun. ^_^ I probably use the pistol more than the shotgun though, because I like to conserve shotgun ammo until I really need it.

Throughout Silent Hill 3 I have been using the katana for most of the time.

SH1 - Pipe/hammer/whatever melee

I was saving ammo

SH2 - Pipe again... monsters were so easy to defeat that I used pistols/shotguns only on bosses.
SH3 - Well... guess :> Yeah! It's a pipe! Also katana - it depends on the monster - some of them would need to be stunned with pipe in order for Heather to be safe from their attacks. The rest would fall easily from the blade. It was hard to find any ammo in SH3 so like in SH1 I was saving it for boss battles.
SH4 - this game suxx
